Background
Being a very unique looking Wookie, Kheos was plucked at an early age by the Empire to work in the mines. Years spent toiling in the dangerous caverns almost seemed to be his life-- until he met the assassin droid IG-187. The two struck a deal to help each other escape, leaving a trail of Imperial bodies in the process. In their quick escape, Kheos murdered the only Imperial officer who showed him any humanity. Although it was done for survival, the memory haunts him to this day.
Motivation
Freedom - All Kheos sees when he closes his eyes are the green foliage and open air of Kashyyk. He just wants to get home.
