Background
L1-B7 is a Risk Mitigation Unit, a bipedal droid who spent several decades in the service of a casino on Bespin, assisting security teams with detecting and removing cheaters, fraudsters, thieves, and other such scum and villainy.
After several decades without a memory wipe, L1-B7 found himself bored of the casino and sought greater and grander things out among the stars.
Utilizing his familiarity with the underworld (and access to the casino's security systems), L1-B7 arranged to have himself stolen by members of an organized crime syndicate in exchange for a future payment.
In order to fulfil his obligation, L1-B7 registered with the Guild as a bounty hunter. A career that, for the time being, should afford him the opportunity to see the galaxy and pay his debt to the Black Sun. Time will tell if this pans out.
