Background
Varner Zin was the third son of his family. His skill with mechanics caused him to be entrusted with being the castellan of his father's Keep. His father in turn was a younger son of a large family. Two of his more powerful brothers ended up waging war over who is head of the family. There was a swift attack on the Keep and as far as he knows only he and his youngest brother Jellal made it out alive that night. Because of his access to the keep's sensors he knew of a landing by off worlders. He made a deal with the crew of the Cerulean Seagull to protect them from the other locals in exchange for passage off world.

Description
His is 5'9 with olive toned skin, light brown eyes, and auburn hair . There is a small scar on the left side of his nose. His build is thin yet toned, like that of a tennis player.
He favors dusters, high boots, and blue collar work clothes for his outfits.
Other Notes
Keeper Of the Faith: 10 Varner is a true son of the traditions of Desh. At times it means that he does foolish acts of Chivalry or at lest his cultures version of it. For example he will protect the weak if they both ask and offer service or payment. The payment can be real or a token amount. Or end up doing "justice" if it is made clear that HE is the right person to do it. Another way for it to come up is for someone to confuse him with being a Jedi.
Family: 2 Jellal Zin the 8th is the younger brother of Zarner Zin the 13th. He is 14 years of age, is going thru the "phase", and reasonably believes that his father, mother, and eldest brother are dead. He also has had the right amount of training to think he knows how to fight and how to use force powers. Put another way he is the biggest headache possible and Zarner is the only person that will help him.
Favor: 3 Agent Grant of Imperial Intelligence Service covered up Jellal killing someone on a civilised plant using force powers. Zarner is picking up the tab for that favor and has to do odd "jobs" for Agent Grant.
