Background
(The High and Mighty/Fallen Noble)
Coming from a noble Avelmont family of Coruscant, Edmond's early life was ripe with opulence. Fine tutors, beautiful apartments, high society. His family was one of the thousands of noble lineages on Coruscant, owning several luxurious hotels, hosting parties for the more powerful of the world. As such, the family always prized gleaning information from rumor and word of mouth. Edmond too, was taught how to analyze situations and carefully affect them with well-placed words. He also spent many long months with his personal hero - his great grandfather, the man who forged the family's financial and social status from the bottom, serving as a councilor and bodyguard to some of the Republic's most notable people. He is the sole reason how Edmond avoided the corruption of a spoiling lifestyle, and taught him to stand for his beliefs and convictions, as well as to never give up, no matter how bad things get.
Unfortunately, the man eventually got to put his grandfather's wisdom to use. At the age of 25, Edmond was a married man, and the head administrator of the "Golden Fifty" - one of the smaller luxury establishments owned by his family. That is when disaster struck and both of his parents have died in a mysterious spaceship accident, during the Empire's uprising on Coruscant. In a violent vacuum of power, Edmond's older siblings, married into other noble families, began tearing the family's fortune apart, leading to one of his sisters being killed, two of his brothers getting exiled, and Edmond himself being slandered as a murderer of his own parents and forced to flee from his traitorous wife and siblings, grabbing his remaining possessions and hiding on a junk vessel leaving through the Imperial Blockade to the Outer Rim, with no way to return to the life he once had.
Ending up alone, poor, hungry and with nothing of his previous life remaining, but the sole simple metal ring gifted to him by his great grandfather and a handful of credits, Edmond spent the next few years re-focusing his life and making a living off of what he knew best - social engineering. He worked for Taris' planetary governments, a few months aiding a Gormak warlord on Voss, running schemes with corporations and cartels, until he managed to rack up enough cash for some respectable gear, so direly needed to survive in the Outer Rim.
Which is when he ran into a certain ragtag group...
Motivation
Edmond keeps on fighting and working every day to achieve two overarching goals:
- Find or get in contact with his little sister Lisbeth and older brother Glen who, to his knowledge, may have survived the bloody dispute after his parents' death.
- Clear his name and regain his former status on Coruscant, as he deserves it by right and blood
Obligations
Family +10 - Edmond loves his family with a passion and will stop at nothing to get information regarding his sister Lisbeth or brother Glen who have fled Coruscant in an unknown direction.
Debt +10 - Edmond owes a large sum of money for a ship their party has purchased
Description
Edmond is a tall and lean man in his early 30s, although he might look a bit younger due to his fine upbringing. He is always cleanly shaven, with short and well-kept hair. His facial features betray a fine upbringing, with a strong jawline and a straight nose, although his recent years spent living in poverty in the Outer Rim has given him a certain rugged charm on top of that. He lacks any scars or burns.
