Hedreg Drusa was born to a prominent clan on the planet Drall. His mother advised the Corellian delegates to the Senate and his father was the chief librarian at the leading university on Drall. To their initial chagrin, Hedreg's interests in computers and mechanics. They encouraged him to pursue more formal modes of education repeatedly and although Hedreg excelled in the academic setting, it was clear that his passions were elsewhere. Sensing a crossroads looming in his future, Hedreg asked his mother for a favor and he was apprenticed to the Chief Advisor to Queen Apaliana of Naboo, a Drall renowned throughout the Galaxy.

During the first few weeks of his apprenticeship, Hedreg befriended the queen and they became confidants despite Hedreg's mentors warnings to maintain a healthy and appropriate distance. A month after joining the retinue, Hedreg had his first encounter with his latent force abilities, he dreamed the unthinkable, the assassination of Queen Apaliana. Despite his repeated warning, Apaliana refused to take extraordinary security precautions.

In fact, Apaliana invited the young Hedreg on a reconnaissance mission to find the lost annex of a Jedi outpost. While there Hedreg's connection to the force deepened. Though untrained in the Jedi way, Hedreg has become a true believer in the Force and has studied all of the archives at his disposal.

After the fated day of Apaliana's assassination, Hedreg retired to the Jedi annex and has set-up motion sensors that few could detect to alert him to the presence of outsiders. He hopes to one day meet new Jedi but knows that is highly unlikely do to the reign of the current regime.
