Background
Rather than rebuild again after a particularly devastating tsunami on his home planet of Chad III, Skav'ii left to roam the galaxy going wherever the odd job would take him.
Where that took him, was to Ord Mantell and into the employment of the Dark Star Syndicate and its crime boss, Chu'da the Hutt. One night, bored and staying one round too long at the local cantina, Skav'ii managed to slip into a Dark Star warehouse where he was apprehended tinkering with a cache of weapons. Amused by his brashness and impressed with his aptitude, Chu'da gave Skav'ii a workshop in which he would re-purpose and modify arms and armor for the syndicate.
Skav'ii enjoyed the work due to technological access it granted him and the steady supply of new projects. Content to call this place his home, Skav'ii worked tirelessly until a mishap changed everything. On a sabotage mission Chu'da's top enforcer, an Aqualish with bigger muscles than brains, blew himself and several of his men up using one of Skav'ii's jury-rigged detonite charges.
Knowing his modifications weren't faulty, but that Chu'da would still be enraged, Skav'ii fled off-world securing passage on a smuggler's ship in exchange for performing custom mod work on the ship. Now Skav'ii looks for a crew that has needs for his special talents and who can protect him if the Dark Star Syndicate's wrath ever finds him...

Description
Skav'ii is a fairly young adult Chadra Fan of average build and height with slate grey fur. A streak of lighter grey cuts across his face at eye-level. His hands are dirty, scarred, and rough from his years of mechanic work. The left side of his face bears a small grouping of noticeable vertical scars that cuts pink valleys through his fur, a permanent reminder of a failed project.
