Assets & Resources

Dark Vision: When making skill checks, Kel Dors remove up to two setback dice imposed due to darkness.

Atmospheric Requirement: Kel Dors must wear a specialized mask to breathe and see outside of their native atmosphere. A Kel Dor character starts the game with an antitox breath mask and treats oxygen as a dangerous atmosphere with Rating 8. However, Kel Dors may survive in vacuum for up to five minutes before suffering its effects.

Background

Grew up on the Planet Ringo Vinga During the late Republic being age 12 at the end of it.
-Dislikes the rebel alliance desire to bring back the Republic due to his poor childhood living under it, but recognizes that its the best chance at ridding the empire, and finding his mentor and killing the now Imperial officer.
-Plars is not a people person, being isolated on hunts for most of his life has made him lacking in social encounters.

-He lost his mother during the Republic campaign to retake the Shipyard, her death was listed as collateral damage, but the poorly treated workers of the station were all skeptical that it was the cruel republic officer in charge of the yard, that was present for the retaking.
-In the following months after the republic regained control of the shipyard, a firefight broke out between rebellious workers and 4 heavily armored clone commandos led by the Republic officer in charge of the Shipyard. Plars father took part in the fight defending his fellow workers and Plars. Plars was under escort by a family friend, and soon to be mentor Ceeve Dirvin, who were near escape when the ship they were heading to board was blocked by a commando. An explosion caused by setup rhydonium by the workers detonating a bomb killing commandos and workers, including Plars father. The blast heavily scorched and knocked the commando into Ceeve and Plars as they attempted to board the ship. Ceeve was able to use the commandos weapon to defend the ship as Plars was able to close the ramp. In the chaos the two were able to escape.
- After losing both parents on Ringo Vinda, the family friend, Ceeve, took him on the run across many systems where he learned the art of hunting, navigation, piloting, and exploring. Plars and His new father figure Ceeve stayed on the move for most his life until about 1.5 bby. They mostly lived out on their own, or taking hunting contracts against exotic big game, usually given by farmers. During this time encounters with the Republic turned Empire started to happen more often, to the point that Ceeve felt he needed to do something about it. Using old contacts from Ringo Vinda Ceeve discovered that the working conditions had gotten far worse under the same officer that was behind the death of Plars father. Plars was told by Ceeve to keep living the life he was, but Plars was unable to stand by as the Empire ruled.
-Plars started to seek out work that would impact the empire given by contractors.


Motivation

With his mentor taken by the empire on a poorly planned trip back to Ringo Vinda to take revenge, Plars plans to find and save him.
Plars had tried and failed to live free from the empire, finding it inescapable he has become motivated to finally fight back against it.

Obligations

Responsibility
-Save mentor (Ceeve Dirvin) from officer via killing the the Imperial officer that captured him on Ringo Vinda.
Plars feels that he has a responsibility to save his mentor from the same officer that his mentor saved him from many years ago.
