During his first deployment, CT-7177 was part of an armored convoy. The separatists launched a surprise attack and a hailfire missile impacted nearby. The resulting shrapnel shredded his helmet and left him with scars that never fully healed. The amount of damage he sustained would have had any level minded individual heading for the medics. He held his ground and when the battle eventually ended. His injuries left him permanently rattled eventually landing him the name "Twitchy". He continued to serve valiantly eventually distinguishing himself as an ARC Trooper.
