Brac was born to an impoverished family on a mining world. His father worked as a miner and his mother a scavenger, both barely scraping out a living with their jobs, but did their best at caring for their children and raising them well. Brac's poor background made him develop a strong disdain for those who were rich and or in power, all he's seen of the wealthy are people who abuse and hoard that wealth, while his parents have to labour and toil away for the scraps.

For much of his childhood, Brac had to help raise and look after his younger brother, Galdu, while his parents worked long hours, all week long. The two became inseparable over the years, Brac always standing up for and protecting Galdu. As Brac got older, he took on blue collar jobs, mainly mining, which required a great durability and raw physical strength from Brac. At the same time, Brac was feeling the squeeze of the Empire and the prejudices it had against aliens, his family being often hassled by Imperial officials for their alien status. This culminated in Brac's father being killed and his mother being crippled by some drunk imperial soldiers.

Brac tried to keep the family together, working more hours at the mine to make ends meet, but his mother closed herself off and Galdu fell in with the wrong crowd and became addicted to death sticks. Worse yet, he became indebted to the Black Sun to fuel this addiction. Brac reluctantly took it upon himself to try and work off his brother's debt by doing jobs for the Black Suns. This work was often illegal and morally bankrupt, anything from robberies to shakedowns. But the interest on the debt just kept mounting and mounting. After being promised one final job to wipe away Galdu's debt. The job was to make someone cough up money they owed to the suns, that person was an imperial officer who did Brac ended up caught by the imperials, the whole thing was a setup for ISB to root out corrupted officers, like the one Brac had been sent to shake down. Brac was subdued, only after he beat five stormtroopers within an inch of their lives. Now a prisoner, his fate uncertain and his family unaware of where he is. Brac needs to make his own luck or die trying, for his sake and that of his family.

Specific Relationship - Brother. Brac's brother has been financially indebted to the black sun for years to fuel his death stick addiction, in an attempt to protect his brother from further trouble and to try pay off his debt, Brac has taken on regular jobs for the Black Sun, much against his better judgement.


Riches - While Brac has no love for the empire, he isn't going to work for free. His family can only get so far on lofty ideals and goodwill. Nor will his brothers creditors accept that as currency. Brac needs credits to secure his family's future and wipe away his brother's debt.

Combat Victory: Brac is good at one thing, and one thing only. Fighting. He has no time for subtlety or subterfuge. The best way he can serve the Alliance is by giving him the biggest gun possible and causing as much damage to the Empire as possible.

Duty - 0

1000 credits and 5xp for extra duty

Physically imposing, he stands at 6'5 and is extremely well built from his years working in the mines. His facial features are equally muscular, with a well defined jawline. His skin is an olive green tinge, like others of his species, he has black eyes with no iris or pupils. Prior to wearing his prisoners jumpsuit, Brac would often be wearing old, battered, padded armour, that he cobbled together by acquiring disused protective gear from the mines. Underneath which, he wears a dark shirt, brown trousers and well worn leather boots.
