Background
8X, or Tex as she also likes to be called, is a survivor of the Clone Wars. Her owner was a Jedi master named Rayany Sauast (a female human) who was killed when their squadron of clones opened fire on their Aethersprite starfighter. 8X survived the attack and drifted for years in deep space before salvagers eventually found her.
8X was relegated to serving drinks in a casino on Bespin before she was sold to Moss Vralgrall, Indigo Squadron’s Quartermaster. He was pleased to see that her programming remained intact and thought she’d serve the squadron well, despite his CO’s explicit orders not to wipe any droid memory as per standard practice.
As a result, 8X hasn’t forgotten her betrayal and near death at the hands of the clone troopers whom she once trusted with her existence. She did not take kindly to serving with Ten initially, but she has questions for which only he can provide answers...
