Q’ri, Q’ri was once a member of a large clan of Jawa traders, his family specialised in refitting speeders and pods. After crossing the wrong territory of a extremely territorial lord the clan was killed save for himself.

Q’ri was a hunter for his clan, a rather crass calling for a clan of mechanics and traders.. he could not journey to another clan so he took his hunting gun and left the planet...

Griff was once a renowned holo vid star who had a long running series where he would track and introduce wild creatures to a larger audience...( called Griffs mighty hunts) if you can think of it Q’ri has at one point hunted it and killed it, Rancor, Kyrat dragons.. even most humanoid creatures have felt the sting of his Czerker KS 23 Hammer ( o’l Betsy) or the large machete like vibroblade he carries

He was ultimately a victim of his own renown, forced into service for the empire he was made to do the unthinkable.. for Q’ri has a code.. not to kill something that is not posing a threat to sentient life. ( or is food) He was forced to cull an entire planets eco system

Jawa rarely fight prolonged combat, Q’ri however was worked until he collapsed.. and at the end when he was about 70% done the empire lost.. they shot him in the back and fled off the world to regroup.

as he lay bleeding out.. something called to him... the planet itself.. it cursed him to live as long as it did.. and so he acts as a protector for a living world, seeking oblivion and redemption for deeds best left unsaid

Q’ri is unusual for a Jawa as he wears a hat circled by several shells and a crimson velvet waistcoat with a chronometer on a chain.. a vibro machete on his hip and two cryo grenades, unlike most Jawa the crystals in his mask Glow blue, not the usual red found on most Jawa.

He speaks basic, and refuses to speak Jawa trade on principle. His basic is rather flawless, but any S sounds like a H probably due to the limitations of Jawa physiology
