The Poor and Hungry
Varrok left shistavanen society to seek opportunity. Coming from a heavy isolationist world, the chances for the poor to break out from their conditions were few, so Varrok decided to stow away on one of the limited number of off world trade ships. He was quickly discovered after the ship left the system and the crew intended to return him to his home planet when next they dropped cargo off at Uvena Prime. However, Varrok soon proved himself a natural pilot and helpful crewmate.

Varrok learned to pilot and how to maintain a ship during his time aboard the trade ship, but he felt stifled simply plying the trade lanes. He knew he wanted to make a name for himself and his people. He figured the best way forward was to leverage his new piloting skills and to seek glory through combat. After being turned away from the Imperial Academy due to his race, he joined the Rebel Alliance.

Challenge Superiority
Varrok wants nothing more than to prove himself, if not the best pilot of all time, then among the elite of that profession. He will take any piloting job aboard a combat vessel he can to this end. His constant transfers between ships and assignments has had him labeled a thrill seeker among his supervisors and commanders, but his track record has proven his capability.

Space Superiority
Varrok is aware that he could do good on the ground, and isnt opposed to helping out the ground pounders when nothing else is available, but he knows in his heart that the Alliance cannot win without control over the void of space. Fighting for said control will be fierce and it is here that Varrok intends to make his biggest mark.

Varrok stands at six feet, but his hunched posture often leaves many with the impression of a much shorter individual. Varrok is easy going in demeanor, willing to get along with anyone. He feels no strong personal attachments, so while many do not mind his company, few know much about him. When not sought out directly for conversation, he tends towards attentive silence and introspection. Combined with piercing yellow eyes, it can make him seem standoffish and judgemental.
