Background
Gar'ræck was raised on Gigor among the indigenous people. When Gigorians were rounded up as slaves for the spice trade on Zygerria, Gar'ræck fought back. In the end he escaped only to be noticed by one of the body guards for the Queen who was using the slave ship as a return transport after completing a mission for her Queen. She was impressed by his strength and agility and how prominently he stood out from the other slave creatures. She took him before the Queen and convinced her to train him as a body guard. The only male bodyguard. He quickly rose in the ranks until he soon took second in command of her Majesty's security detail. He was also awarded with a new weapon, one that the Queen picked out herself that would instill fear into any who might oppose her: a Model 7 Therm-Ax. He wielded it proudly and none dare cross him.
He worked as the head body guard for the queen of Zygerria, Miraj Scintel, for a few years. When misfortune took the Queen's life, a new queen was chosen, Durtha Musak. She favored her second in command and gave the chief bodyguard position to her childhood friend, Halla Althorsa. Gar'ræck suspected that Halla might have nefarious purpose behind securing such an appointment, yet he had no proof. Three months of serving beneath the newly appointed chief, he found himself sent on a mission to Rekkiad on rumors of rival forces setting up an advance station for an attack on Zygerria. Though he was wary, he did not foresee being stranded and left to die on the barren ice planet. He managed to survive in what appeared to be an old tomb for 5 weeks with no food in thanks to his layers of blubber and thick coat of fur.
With almost no hope left, he finally sees a stray ship landing on the surface to explore the rumored tomb. Upon satisfaction that nothing remained to be plundered, they agreed to transport him to _________.
Motivation
With Gar'ræck's suspicions confirmed that Halla was up to something nefarious, his commitment is to the throne and to his Queen, Durtha Musak. Whether they both are to be removed from office for crimes against the throne. Until he can return to his post, he serves as a Marauder, adept at close quarters combat and proficient and deadly with his Therm-ax.
