Aluyari was raised within the Jedi Order, given up by her family at the tender age of two. Delighted to become a Knight, Aluyari was preparing for the Gathering on Ilum when the clone troopers turned on their Jedi allies.

She was ordered to seek refuge within the Temple by the accompanying master overseeing her task, Master Yorin Krieg, as he fought off their trooper escort. After killing him, they attempted to enter the Ilum Temple, but found themselves blocked by an unknown entity, mysterious and powerful -- enough that it killed those troopers who did not immediately flee its presence.

For seven days, Aluyari remained within the safety of the icy caverns, where she experienced hope and despair, fear and grief. She emerged again no less afraid, but far more determined, emboldened by the hope that if she could just become strong enough, perhaps she could protect herself and others from the same fate of Master Krieg.

The ship she and Yorin had arrived with had fortunately remained untouched by the troopers, and she used it to escape Ilum.

The years following were met with difficulty and hardship. She learned the cruelties of the underworld first hand and was forced to adapt to a much harder life than she has lived with the Jedi Order.

Her one true ambition is to become a Knight. She has only her training as Padawan to guide her in this journey, and so she is often left frustrated when unable to progress her skills with the Force or lightsaber.

Her morality is aligned to her brave but reckless nature, often with the result of unexpected consequences -- and achievements.

Aluyari is described as having "a guarded heart, charming wit, and the charisma of a fierce wookie." A fiercely loyal friend and individual, she embodies the ideals of a Knight (or what she assumes are said ideals), aiding others with genuine passion while harbouring a great fear (disguised as hatred) of the Empire.

She is typically upbeat, sociable, and very relaxed in her interactions with others, displaying an infinite measure of patience, but with a surprising stubborn streak and temper when called for. She is also often daring, even reckless, when it comes to assisting others or in the midst of combat, leaping into the fray without second thought in order to push her skills to their limits.

As a Togruta, Aluyari is short and compact, her body lined with lean muscle and her frame slight, allowing for excellent athletic performance. She has distinctive orange flesh and colourful white markings along her cheeks, brow, and the length of each limb. Her lekku and montrals are striped deep purple and white.
