SC4R-4B, or "Scarab", was a custom ordered droid by an influential crime lord. He served as a middle man for the Sable Rouge, selling off smuggled contraband for much more than they were worth. After scamming the Hutt Teemo in a particularly unfair deal, Scarab was captured. In an attempt to secure his asset, Marleon launched an unsuccessful raid that ended with Scarab's manumission and enslavement.

Scarab's frame is made up of clay-like colors, varying in shades across his body. His optical sensors glow blue, flickering like a beetle's wings flapping to simulate blink or when Scarab takes damage. He often wears beiges and browns, particularly layered when on business calls, and hiding his mechanical nature generally brings in quite a few more credits. Even when in a more casual setting, Scarab still prefers to cover himself lightly. Quoting that it tends to make nearby organics more comfortable, and his use-ness to the feeling.
