Background
RC-4077 was trained on Kamino, as every other clone and commando was in order to maintain secrecy. As he grew, he became more and more interested in medicine, amazed at the possibilities of saving someone's life. Later on, however, he would learn that actually practicing medicine is a laborious and gruelling task. He wanted to be able to save those around him, but wanted above all else for him to not have to. The training sergeants surmised that this trait and morality would make for a good leader. In battle simulations, he despised the prospect of a "suicide" mission, and made a concerted effort to go through the simulation with the least amount of casualties or injuries possible, even whilst being criticized for his strategies being "inefficient" or "drawn out" by his mentors.
RC-4077 was trained by Mij Gilamar in the later years of the Republic Commando's training. RC-4077's personality began to reflect that of Mij's, believing that unnecessary loss of life was a tragedy, and even the lives of the clones were important, however short they were expected to be. Mij taught RC-4077 that though someone may be in a higher position, that does not mean their life is of higher value than anyone else's. This was reflected in Mij's discontentment with sergeants Dred Priest and Isabet Reau.
Upon deployment to Geonosis, RC-4077 was the commander of Sierra squadron. Initially, their mission was to land and meet up with a field commander of higher ranking. However, as they went to rendezvous, something became apparently wrong. "Hold up." RC-4077 called to his squadmates, Slug, Mist, and Jewels. They all stood, looking around. This was definitely the rendezvous point, but there was no one here. There was nothing at all in fact. They were standing in the middle of a flat area, the ground rocky and dry. Around them, scattered, were a few large holes. "Maybe we have to go down?" Mist inquired, starting to walk towards one of the crevices. RC-4077 knelt down, inspecting the ground. Something was wrong here. Slug went over to Mist, as Mist looked down into the crevice. "Holy shit.." Mist whispers into comms. "Uh, we have a problem." Mist says carefully. RC-4077 listens in for what the problem is, when at the same time he realizes. He knocks his fist on the ground. "Get the fuck out of there!" RC-4077 exclaims, standing up. The sound the ground made was hollow. It was too late. as RC-4077 looked to his squad, the ground started to quiver where Mist was standing, right at the edge of a large opening in the sinkhole. The rocky surface gave way to empty air, and Mist and Slug disappeared, their comms live with screams until silence. RC-4077 had no time to mourn as the ground continued to fall before him. He started running, as did Jewels. The ground gave in under them, RC-4077 jumping forward in a futile attempt to escape the sinkhole. Jewels did the same. Miraculously, the ground stopped quaking underneath them. RC-4077 looked up at Jewels, a nervous laugh growing between the two of them. Jewels looked over to his commander. "That was way too clo-" he cuts off as a last section of the ground falls away below him, and he tumbles down the side of a sheer drop, his screaming stopping after a few seconds.
RC-4077 mourned for the loss of his lifelong friends for a short time, looking down the cliff, signaling over and over in comms to see if any had lived. Eventually he gave up, realizing the reality. Standing up, he wanders back to his original drop-off destination in hopes of making contact with the Republic once more.
