Background

1. How did you discover your force sensitivity?

When he was young, Rikkit’s hive was raided by the Black Sun Cartel, kidnapping Verpine to work for them and addicting them to a drug in order to keep them in-line. An awareness of the effects of the drug gradually dawned on Rikkit, as he could not only see the drug’s effects on his people, but sense the effect on his fellow Verpine through the Force.

2. Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.

Like the other Verpine, Rikkit was drugged and forced to work building weapons and other devices for the cartel. The young Verpine eventually fought off the effects of it, escaping into the ventilation ducts of the building where they were kept. He was forced to forage for food and supplies while watching his hivemates experience enslavement.

3. How did you come to join the NJO?

Rikkit’s growing force sensitivity attracted the attention of an older Verpine with experience with the NJO. Suskafoo had served with Dagger Squadron, the Alliance's first B-wing squadron during the war, and had a fascination with the Jedi. His stories kindled a fascination with Jedi lore in the adolescent Rikkit, who began collecting stories of Jedi and developed a Verpine fascination with their technology and relics.

4. Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.

Suskafoo remains a father figure to Rikkit, having been one of those responsible for freeing Rikkit and his kin from the slavers. Rikkit still corresponds with him, relating tales of the NJO and the older verpine sends back news of the asteroid colony in the Roche system.

5. Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.

Rikkit managed to free some of his other kin from the slavers, risking himself to keep them safe and forage for the supplies they needed while they figured out how to escape. Eventually, he braved the depths of the Black Sun compound in order to send out a communication out that lead to their rescue.

(Originally was referencing the Verpine's involvement in the Swarm War and their addiction to Black Membrosia, but had to rewrite a bit once I found your timeline.)
