Background
Sand Candorda, mercenary gunfighter of no particular allegiance, was once a Stormtrooper, a Sergeant even, with the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. The Battle of Endor changed all of that.
The Empire collapsed, crumbling into a remnant, and the monolithic Imperial Military collapsed in on itself with it. Candorda was one of many Stormtroopers who laid down arms in the face of the New Republic's ascent and took to a newly lawless Outer Rim to avoid military tribunals and prosecution.
