Background
Brigs served in the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars, having served with distinction in the Battle of Umbara and the Jedi Purge. After being discharged from the army with the dissolution of the Clone Army after the War, Brigs took to a life of mercenary work as a sniper. Brigs spends his time in between jobs drinking to cope with the horrors of the Clone Wars and what he had seen and done during the War, becoming reliant on it to stop the nightmares. Brigs recently messed up a job for Bargos the Hutt due to being in a drunken state and now must find a way to make it up to Bargos or risk being on the receiving end of a bounty.
Motivation
His only motivation in life is to make enough money to keep the drink flowing so that he doesn't have to relive the memories of the war.
