Born on Alderaan, Gavyn was raised in the capital city of Aldera and wanted for nothing, the second son of a minor noble house that remained loyal to the empire following Palpaltines rise to power at the end of the clone wars.

Standing not to inherit the noble titles of his family, Gavyn chose a different path, to join the imperial military. Despite having an aptitude for hand to hand combat.
