Background
Though not a famous bounty hunter by any means, this weathered Rodian has survived enough hunts against the various and dangerous creatures of the galaxy to be, at least, taken seriously. He had no intention of hunting bounties, but hunting became less lucrative and accessible with the back-to-back Clone Wars and rise of the Empire taking its toll on much of the nature on all sorts of planets. Adding on more red tape and law enforcement made Ervi search out something better years ago.
Bounty hunting in the Outer Rim, often working for that Hutt, wasn't something he saw as beneath himself. It was boring sometimes, but at the end of the day Ervi simply enjoys firing his rifle. Unfortunately, a job with his last crew went so incredibly sideways that he had to start from square one, leading him to where he is now: a once-again, bottom of the barrel bounty hunter, in debt to the local Hutt for bailing him out of trouble. Just before he was planning on retiring, too...
Motivation
Freedom: If he can just bank up enough credits, Ervi can retire to some place nice and tropical where he won't ever have to worry about a thing and he'll die one day with a drink in his hand and a light sunburn on his scales.
