Background
James Cornelle, a highly trained astronaut sent as the first to explore the newly discovered planet 43 Tallo C.
While believed to be a gas giant, Mr. Cornelle discovered that this planet actually had a layer of crust deep within the swirling storms. However, upon entering this planets atmosphere he immediately lost contact with home base and was being quickly pulled inwards. Unknowing of the land below him he swiftly attempted to set a slingshot course through the giant its self. Upon trying to pull this off, the rocky landscape quickly approached and he found himself hurdling towards the ground. While managing to pull up and preserve himself, his ship was mostly destroyed and he had almost nothing but scraps to work off of. While presumed dead back on Earth, he managed to create a farm and live in this miserable harsh storm. For years he would live on this mysterious planet with no sign, or hope of help coming his way. Over the course of these years he finally managed to repair his shuttle enough to set off. At least it would get him off of this hell hole. Now he returns to earth as nothing but a ghost of who he used to be. His family murdered for ransom and his colleagues involved with the people who left him stranded.
