Background
Not a day goes by when Ubo's does not think of watching his idol, the Drabatan protest singer Sa'Kalla, murdered by the imperial officer in front of hundreds of thousands of his species. Ubo joined the crowd when it rioted, murdering a stormtrooper. Fleeing his home world of Pipada as the Empire cracked down on the Drabatan, Ubo fled to (insert whatever world he will begin on), dreaming of joining the Rebel Alliance. There he fell under the influence of a Twi'lek who claimed to have contacts in the Rebel Alliance. Ubo never realized the contacts were actually an Empire counterintelligence sting and resolved to lead his aspiring rebels in breaking the Twi'lek from the detention center. The direct assault on the Imperial outpost Ubo led succeeded in freeing the Twi'lek but most of his comrades were killed are captured in the fighting that followed. Now Ubo, grown paranoid by his now multiple crimes against the Empire, is desperate to find a safe place and a means to support himself.
Motivation
Ubo is motivated by his desire for revenge against the Empire. He also lives in fear of Imperial "justice." Ubo constantly worries about supporting himself and is willing to do most anything not overtly destructive to innocents for money. His hatred for the Imperial government has engendered a lack of respect for legal authority.
Obligations
Ubo feels a strong sense of loyalty to those who take up arms with him. He is committed to resisting Imperial control and seeking revenge for their murder of Sa'Kallah and persecution of the Drabatans. He is a suspect, at least, in the murder of a stormtrooper on Pipada and a jailbreak and its accompanying body count on his current planet.
