Herlon Mantosin grew up on Mandalore. He was too young to partake in the brutal siege of Mandalore, but did grow up as a traditional Mandalorian. After the Empire took Mandalore and exterminated their warriors, Herlon made his way off world. He, like the others who escaped, looked for work and joined other Mandalorians sects scattered throughout the galaxy. Moving from planet to planet, he hid in backwater outer-rim worlds. After landing on Felucia, he discovered a Hutt Bounty Hunter tracking an acquisition on-world. The Bounty Hunter had been injured in an encounter with native fauna. Herlon offered to help for a small portion of the bounty. Afterwards, Herlon quickly showed his aptitude with a blaster and proceeded to help secure the asset.

Herlon's motivation is his Covenant. He is an honor-bound crusader. He works dutifully to help his mentor, and sponsor foundlings to fill Mandalore's ranks. If Mandalore calls, he will answer. He is willing to die for his honor and that of his comrades. Mandalore has not and will not be forgotten by her sons.

Herlon is a duty-bound soul. He has pledged himself to serve Mandalore, her people, and their ways of life. He follows the Mandalorian Code for honor, but he is known to show no mercy to his enemies.

Herlon stands at an average height for a human male. He walks with composure. He is typically reserved but has an undeniable intensity when necessary. He never removes his helmet. He is known to replace his helmet with a mask or facial covering to blend in better depending on the asset he is trying to track. He either wears full armor or a civilian garb along with face coverings to push away veering eyes. His eyes are dark green with light blonde hair. He has a large scar on his right shoulder
