Background
Ji was formerly a practicing doctor at a reputable academy in one of the core worlds. Pushing the envelope on modern medicine, Ji rushed through the proper stages of clinical trial for a new surgical technique and brought the procedure to human testing too soon. The procedure was unsuccessful, with disasterous consequences: the death of a high-standing member of society. Ji left the system before the investigation uncovered the extent of misconduct, and is looking to find their way in the galaxy.
