CYANOGEN CHAMBER
All Celegians not in a cyanogen environment must use a cyanogen chamber in order to survive. Celegians float in the chambers, which are made of transperisteel and equipped with repulsorlifts to give them some mobility. A cyanogen chamber costs 6,000 credits and completely encloses up to 15 encumbrance, preventing any attacks from going in or out. However, it can be ruptured with eight points of damage. It can only move once per turn and still requires a maneuver to move.

Background

Ooo was and Ooo is. Ooo was born into darkness, as are we all.

Ooo is not Ooo's name, but no mere word or utterance pronounceable by galactic society comes closer to approaching it. Ooo's true moniker is the faint scent of ozone that follows a lightning strike.

Ooo was first spawned in the depths beneath raging cyanogen seas, only breaching the roiling surface of the watery moon Tramamos in adolescence. Ooo was brought into the light by the mystics of a primordial Force tradition, known to Ooo as a flash of blinding luminescence and the fleeting surprise one feels upon realizing that one has solved a difficult riddle. The adherents of this ancient sect — given the (insufficient) label "The Prophets of Uuvun" in Galactic Basic — worship an enigmatic and memetic thought paradox that captivates the minds of those exposed to it. The impossible mystery unlocks a host of Abilities in the massive minds of the Celegian prophets.

Ooo has since sojourned into the galaxy, leaving Ooo's isolationist people behind to spread the nonrational revelation and the boons of transcendence.

It was on one of these mission trips, floating enclosed within Ooo's cyanogen life support chamber, that the Celegian first encountered the animal that would become his canine companion. Ooo had come under attack by a band of intolerant Dressellians who violently resisted the truth of the Uuvun Paradox. In fear and desperation, Ooo reached out into the surrounding area using Ooo's Abilities... and discovered the willing mind of a young akk dog: Rover. This red-hued beast, Force sensitive like the rest of his species, was desperately crying out for the mental connection that Ooo offered.

The two bonded instantly, the akk dog coming to Ooo's aid and fighting off the Dressellians. Rover had previously been a guard dog loyal to a local crime lord. But no longer. Rover now had a higher calling, a stronger connection with his new master, his new pack leader and friend, than he had ever felt before. Ooo and Rover haven't left each others' sides, since.

Now Ooo and Rover roam the space lanes, letting insights from the great enigma guide their actions and spreading the occult knowledge of Ooo's bizarre cult.

Motivation

MOTIVATION: FAITH: SCIENCE AND REASON
The character believes in reason, knowledge, and scientific understanding. Everything, even the Force, has a logical explanation and works according to certain rules, even if he doesn't understand what those rules are.

Morality

MORALITY: 50
Ooo's morality is governed by logic and reason, except when guided otherwise by the revelations of the Uuvun Paradox. Ooo does not believe in the light or dark sides of the Force, or actually in the Force itself, but instead understands this connection to the spiritual realm as an irrational gift stemming from Ooo's adherence to the Prophets of Uuvun.

Description

CELEGIANS
Celegians are crustaceans who look similar to jellyfish and generally float around using their form of natural levitation. Although they can live in air or water, they require complete submersion in cyanogen, a gas which is lethal to other species. They have a large, brain-like mass of more than a meter in diameter at the top of their body. They have four large tentacles, about two meters long, and several small tentacles which descend from their brain. Although they are not especially coordinated, they can use these tentacles to grasp objects. Their skin is a mottled mix of red, pink, and white. Despite their lack of clearly visible eyes and ears, they are still capable of sight and hearing. They are also telepathic, which lets them communicate silently with anyone nearby.

OOO
Ooo is a giant floating brain-jellyfish. Ooo hovers in a clear, rectangular cyanogen tank atop a bank of durasteel chrome repulsors. Ooo's ruddy skin is streaked with vertical pinkish and white stripes. When near Ooo, you're occasionally provided with flashes of insight, ideas wordlessly expressed using feelings and visuals as if they are your own thoughts, yet foreign.

Other Notes

Silhouette 2.

No pronouns, generally. It/it pronouns if necessary.

Celegian telepathy operates without any language, meaning that they can communicate ideas with anyone.
