Background
Vox is the son of a Nautolan Coruscanti immigration smuggler. He grew up on Glee Anselm, but moved to Coruscant with his family in search of a better life. His father's operation specialized in bringing people back from the Outer Rim and integrating them among the Coruscanti underworld. He was able to amass a large network of allies in the underworld, and his ability to smuggle people and cargo through imperial systems gained renown. Vox was not as talented as a smuggler, but his persuasive abilities and political savvy helped his family attract clientele.
In Vox's 25th year of Life, his father was asked to execute a difficult task: smuggle someone OUT of Coruscant, as opposed to bringing someone into the planet's depths. The political figure was quite wealthy and skeptical, so while they offered to pay Vox's father enough to retire on, they required a personal escort from his family to ensure they would not be sold out. The identity of the character was unknown to Vox, but he was tasked with escorting the highly sought after political figure to the Outer Rim, where they could live in anonymity.
Unfortunately, they encountered an Imperial scouting party upon entry to the lush biosphere of Ithor, and crash-landed in one of the many rocky lakes on the planet's surface. Vox somehow survived the impact, and swam to safety, despite severe burns and scarring on the left side of his body. The political POI was killed, and the imperials used the wreckage to ID his family ship, and then traced and executed them for treason.
Vox skipped planets to the edge of the Outer Rim, where he settled on Exodeen. He tapped into the secret accounts of his father, and used the funds to establish himself among the native clans. He quickly rose to prominence in western Exodeen civilization, where he was influential in creating and maintaining a loose code of law among the colonists.
He underwent multiple physical changes to cloak his identity from any imperial colonists, from dying his skin a reddish brown shade to hide his scarring.
