Vykk Draygo was a pilot for a luxury liner company, Caledon, and flew pleasure yachts across the galaxy. Draygo enjoyed the piloting experience at first, but as time wore on, Draygo began to get bored of flying slow space ships. Draygo began to get "burnt out" and started to become apathetic towards his duties. During one routine cruise, Draygo fell asleep at the controls and struck a rogue asteroid causing the luxury liner to crash on a nearby planet. Draygo's mouth, chin and neck were severely burned by a console fire during the crash, giving Draygo the appearance of having a vicious sneer. For this reason, he keeps the bottom half of his face and neck covered. Several passengers were killed as a result of the crash, also. His employer, Iccabbo Slink, thought of Draygo as a son and made the cause of the crash look like a glitch in the auto-pilot programming and covered up Draygo's negligence. However, one condition Slink gave Draygo for the cover up was that he had to resign from Caledon. Draygo resigned from Caledon, citing his injuries as the reason for his resignation. Draygo owes Slink a big time favor, since the cover up saved Draygo's piloting career. Having learned his lesson, Draygo swore he would never be inattentive/negligent again and told Slink that if Slink ever needed anything, just ask and Draygo would do it (and Draygo meant it).
