Skee Duutsa grew up on Nal Hutta, living in the streets via petty theft. He managed to steal enough to keep alive and somewhat healthy, eventually learning how to bypass machines and droids, even writing a serving droid at a local restaurant to give him free food and drink near closing time. He got caught, and was forced to fix the droid and pay for what he had stole or be sent to the nearest Hutt for punishment. Apparently he had repaired the droid beyond the state it had been before as the owner was pleasantly shocked and instead of telling the Hutt he was a thief sent him as a potential talented employee.

He was sent up to Nar Shaddaa to be trained as a slicer and thief, and his skills and knowledge only improved, learning much in the ways of criminal activity as well as the dangers of working for the hutts. Once he became confidant enough in his skill he sliced himself passage on board an outboard ship to Onderon, not knowing that the freighter he had sliced aboard was a ship of pirates. Only because of his talent did he manage to stay alive, to be stuck as their techie and slicer for the crew.

The crew was ruthless, and kept him in line through threats and bullying as the young Rodian knew he stood no chance in a fight. It did allow him to test the limits of his skills, and if he goofed up the worst that happened was a light beating after the crew slaughtered others. They plagued ships in the Lantilles sector, and got a bit of a name for themselves so that they caught the attention of the Rebel Alliance a year later. Skee caught on to this, and managed to find a way to send covert information to the rebels indicating that he could help them capture the rest of the crew for his safety, immunity, and a job for them. It was accepted with the caveat that he would be under strict scrutiny until he proved himself trustworthy.

MOTIVATION
Expertise: Skee wishes to excel and improve himself in his chosen skill set, as well as any hobby he manages to fancy. Proving his expertise in any of these things brings him happiness and pride.

DUTY
Support: When you're in it to earn credits, one can't be choosy. Besides when you have various talents may as well help out where you can, preferably outside of direct danger.
