Background
Born on Kashyyyk, and, as an Albino, was deemed unlikely to survive. However, he defied the odds, even surviving trips to the lower levels despite his "Handicap" (having white fur in the Shadowlands is not a good idea), defending his village against the threats that exist there. Captured by Trandoshan slavers during one such trip, was freed soon after by Jedi, by whom his sensitivity to the Force was revealed, and he was taken for training.
