Background

DA was a Scout and Spotter during the Galactic Civil War, where in he aided the Rebel Alliance. A skilled spotter, he lent his eyes to the rebellion and from them, learned how to sneak, how to cook and how to end his enemies from a distance. After the war ended, DA went from to place looking for a place where he could belong.

But that's getting a bit ahead of ourselves. DA was born to the sands of Tattoine like many Jawas, to a family of scrappers. Growing up, he realized that he didn't enjoy being a merchant or scrapping things. While he still felt a primal pleasure in taking what wasn't his, dismantling whatever he 'found' and scrapping junk was left lying around in the desert (regardless of how it got to that position), DA aspired for more. So when the possibility came to abandon his family and his home, he gladly took it.

After the Battle of Yavin, DA was able to learn of the Rebellion and after some struggling he was able to join their number. Being only a Jawa, he was underestimated by his peers and given grunt work. However this all changed as the war went on, and his abilities as a spotter were discovered by his commanding officer. Realizing his potential, he was assigned to a Commando Team and given a mixture of actual training and live combat training. His higher-ups didn't expect much of him, he was just a Jawa, but time after time he was able to make it through.

During the Galactic Civil War, DA was able to bond with his Commando buddies and create several lasting friendships that lasts even to the present. Sadly not everything was swell during the War, as DA soon learned that his entire family had been murdered by the Empire when they began scrapping an AT-AT that wasn't quite as abandoned as they thought. When word of this came to DA, he was stricken by grief and made a vow to protect his kin. What he failed to do for his family, he would do for the rest of his kind. Or at least, those Jawas he bonded and grew to care about. Some Jawas are just unpleasant and beyond all hope after all.

Through the rest of the war, DA took special pleasure in taking down Imperials as he took low-key revenge on those associated with his families murder When the war ended, DA struggled to put away his gun and go back to civilian life. He had no family to go back too, for some reason he struggled with jawa women so he had no girl to go back too, and he still hated the sand. So... with nowhere else to go, DA turned to Mercenary Work and traveled the galaxy searching for purpose.

After many years wandering the galaxy, he eventually stumbled into planet Oogway. Motivated by rumors of a Jawa Enclave, DA looks to do what he has always done. Aid those with a righteous shot and keen eyesight, keep a a look out out for the law while his buddies do some nasty business, and drink himself into stupor at least once per week.

Description

DA is an average looking Jawa, who hides most of his features behind his cloak. Whenever he's indulging or relaxing, he likes to put on a cowboy hat in remembrance of his old commando buddies. Whenever he's on the job, he stashes the hat and tries to blend in. Decorating his cloak or armor with camo paint, or if he is with other Jawas, by making himself look as generic as jawaly-possible

Have a range of close on planetary scale or long on personal scale, using this scanner upgrades the ability of checks made to locate bugs, sweep rooms for hidden cameras, pick up data streams or engage in counter surveillance activities once.

=3-MAL Secure Comlink=
Comlink transmit up to medium range on the planetary scale. Encryption adds ⬛ to any check made to intercept and unscramble the signal. Monitoring a standard clear frequency on civilized worlds can add bb to Knowledge checks related to current events or conditions at the GM's discretion

=Rider Ascension Pistol=
As an action make a Average (pp) Ranged (Light) check to fire a grappling hook onto a object at medium range, as an action he may reel in the cord pulling himself to the target or an unsecured object to himself. To pull up a passenger as well make a Average (pp) Athletics Check to avoid losing grip of the pistol or partner
