Power
Foresee
Description
Force users often have precognitive flashes, experiencing waking dreams or visions about people and situations through their abilities. These powers are rarely so clear and obvious as to provide unequivocal visions of the future, but they are certainly enough to give Force users pause for thought when they have a "bad feeling about something."
The power of foresight has been used in countless different ways by countless different Force users throughout history. Some use it to gain vague images far into the future. while others use it to predict the movements of their foes or see an unexpected event soon to happen.
Upgrade

Background
COMFORTABLE WITH TECH
Many of the worlds and cultures across the galaxy have a high level of technological sophistication Droids and the HoloNet are tools that many sentients use on a daily basis. Starships and repulsor lift craft are a com- mon sight on many worlds. and characters are likely comfortable using these fantastic devices. Most adult individuals from these sorts of worlds enjoyed an education that included a solid grounding in engineering and the hard sciences. This level of technological familiarity is considered the norm for the civilized galaxy.
Most of the planets from the Core Worlds to the Outer Rim fall into this category. Even frontier and colonial worlds tend to have denizens familiar with standard galactic technologies. even if said technologies are rare or unavailable. These planets are typically a part of wider galactic society. Citizens of these worlds who wish to avoid technology must make a deliberate effort to do so.
Motivation
FAITH
Characters who select this Motivation have a deep and abiding trust in some recurring facet of galactic exis- tence. They dedicate their lives to spreading this belief, in the hope that they can bring other beings to come to a similar understanding. In many cases, their proselytiza- tion becomes a central focus. In other cases, spreading their belief is far less important than simply reveling in it.
Morality
Curiosity: The character is driven to learn new things, to seek out and discover new information, and to expand her knowledge and understanding of those things that interest her.
Obsession: Sometimes, interest in something can turn to obsession if not tempered with reason. The character can slip into an obsessive state about her need to discover information, accomplish a goal, or even defeat a rival,
and she may ignore all else until success is hers.
Description
EXPERIENCING THE FORCE - ONE WITH THE FORCE
Some adepts are so deeply grounded in the Force that it influences the ir every action . These characters constantly perceive the world through its lens, and it decides their every thought. Often, their education has included a thorough grounding in Force philoso- phies. so that they choose to act with deliberate devo- tion to the light [or dark) side of the Force.
Such knowledge is deliberately suppressed in the Empire and thus incredibly hard to come by. How- ever, it is not impossible. A character with this back- ground may have been raised by one of the last Jedi to escape the purges, who, before dying, passed on a measure of knowledge of the Force to the character. Alternatively, the character may have known someone
who would have reason to be familiar with the Jedi and their knowledge. A former Republic soldier or sympa- thetic Senator, an old friend of the Jedi, or even an ally who worked with the Jedi but was not Force-sensitive may have escaped the Emperor's purges and passed on what he has lea rned . It may be that the character is one of those individuals, and as he has aged, he has realized that he too can tap into the power of the Force.
Other Notes
AMBITITION
Become a Jedi: The character wants nothing more than to become a Jedi Knight. though he may not be sure how to do so.
SPECIFIC CAUSE
Restore the Jedi: The character wants to see the Jedi Order restored and rebuilt. although what he knows of the Jedi may be limited or even inaccurate. He may want to be a Jedi, or just want to see them return to being a presence in the galaxy.
FAITH RESULT
The Cosmic Force: The character understands on some level that everything that happens. has happened.or will happen in the galaxy is part of the Cosmic Force. The Force guides the galaxy and the individuals within it, and things happen for a reason.
