Background
I was the head mechanic of my Wookiee village on the planet Kashyyyk. Through the Force, I had a premonition of Trandoshan slavers burning my village to the ground, which turned out to be true. I sabotaged the Trandoshan command ship’s power. However, I was aboard it when the engine failed and it fell to Kashyyyk’s forest floor, known as the Shadowlands. I was the only one to survive. After killing a monster that only hunts force-sensitives, I repaired a speeder and flew to the Wookiee city Thikkiiana, where I purchased a spaceship and left Kashyyyk. Another Wookiee named Dewmapia stowed away aboard my ship.
