Upon graduation, gets offer to care for the son of a extremely wealthy [Race TBD] family, offers to pay his student loans + salary.
Ends up basically being a drug connection for this spoiled, ill son.
Spends 2ish years caring for/partying with [Race TBD].
One night, after a particularly intense night of revelry, Liio wakes to find that his charge is dead.
Family accuses his treatments/neglect of being the cause of their son's death.
Liio later discovers that his [device] recorded assassins sneaking in when they were passed out and murdering the [Race TBD]. On the recording, assassins allude to the family being who called in the hit.
Liio's young reputation is doomed and so he is unable to get (legitimate) work in the inner systems.
Debt collectors begin to chase him.
Flee's to the Outer Rim, taking work on smuggler ships, etc. as a medic and/or cook.
