Description
TX-4D had been discovered after the loss of Echo Base in 3 ABY. The Separatist ship that it was located in seemed to have crashed in a nearby system during their escape from the Empire's forces. After the shutdown code had been activated, the ship had continued to linger on in the galaxy until it crashed near a small rebel base. The rebels had gone to investigate and found leftovers of old CIS droids and a TX Tactical Droid named TX-4D (which they named Tad for short). Knowledge of the droids being found had reached a small part of Rebel Command and the droid had been sent to the Lantillies Sector to help command their ships and keep things in check.
