Sidestep 1 Once per round on the character’s turn, the character may perform a Side Step maneuver to try to avoid incoming ranged attacks. He then suffers a number of strain no greater than his ranks in Side Step. Until the start of the character’s next turn, upgrade the difficulty of all ranged combat checks targeting the character a number of times equal to the strain suffered by the character
Point Blank 2 The character adds one damage per rank of Point Blank to one hit of successful Ranged (Heavy) or Ranged (Light) attacks made while at short range or engaged.
Natural Marksman 1 Once per game session, the character may reroll any one Ranged (Light) or Ranged (Heavy) check.
Strong Arm 1 Characters with the Strong Arm talent treat thrown weapons as if they had one step greater range, to a maximum of medium range.
Defensive Driving 1 Any vehicle the character pilots has its defense rating on all zones increased by one per rank of Defensive Driving.
Indistinguishable 2 The character’s appearance is so common that people have a hard time identifying distinguishing traits. Opposing characters upgrade the difficulty of any checks made to identify him once per rank of Indistinguishable.

Description

Background

Born to a free but destitute family on Pixelito, he grew up watching the pod racing tournaments from afar dreaming of one day piloting his own. He stowed away on a Vinta Harvest freighter as a teenager to escape a life of hard labor and early death by atmospheric pollution.
He was discovered by the freighter captain, while trying to steal food, but instead of tossing him out on the next planet in range, he let Nagu stay, and fed him as long as he worked as a janitor. He was kind to Nagu.

Nagu was happy with his newfound place in the galaxy, and lived aboard that freighter for near a decade.
One shipment brought them to Nar Shaddah, where Nagu’s fortune ran out, and a crew of mercenary’s hired by the Hutts jumped the delivery and shot the captain in cold blood in front of him. He did nothing to stop it. A piece of him died that day.

He played it off like he couldn’t have cared less what they did, and they put a blaster in his hand, and by a cruel twist of fate he fell in with the very people who stole the peace he had found. Thus began his new life as the Nar Shaddah Hutts’ newest gun and getaway driver. He tried not to let people get too close, but finding his way back onto a starship... he can’t help but feel a bond forming between himself and the rest of the crew, and the memory of the freighter captain who took him in urges him, against every instinct he’s come to trust, to protect these people who fate has somehow brought together.

Motivation

Really is trying to turn a new leaf and be a good guy this time around, but finds it difficult to trust people enough to put himself in danger to protect them.

Obligations

Obligation: Criminal - wanted for a slew of misdeeds committed on behalf of the Hutts.
