Background
Rak was born on the Gotal homeworld of Antar 4. His mother, serving as an Antarian Ranger Auxiliary at the time, was overjoyed to give her son to the Jedi.
Rak took to his temple training with vigor and excelled in his blade training. Whenever he was restless he would sneak out into the temple in search of adventure, oftentimes being caught by the temple guards. Rather than admonish him, some of the guards took him into their care to foster his more duplicitous skills into something useful for the order. Had the war not broken out he would have likely become a temple guardian himself.
Rak is new to the 10th Sector Army and eager to put his training to good use.

Rak believes the best way to protect the Republic - and by extension the Jedi Order - is to bring their enemies out into the light. He revels in uncovering mysteries and stopping plots before they can unfold.

Rak feels at home among the shadowy and seedy places. He hopes that by becoming something his enemy fears, he will make them think twice before attacking the Republic. Anything he can do to spread this narrative among the enemy (or GAR) is a win.
