Background
G2-90 or "GENO" was activated in 19BBY and sold to the Star Tours line to help maintain their fleet of Star Speeder 1000's.
Like all G2 droids GENO was gregarious and loved to chat with other non droid techs. After befriending several mechanics he believed himself to be an important part of the team not a droid. Taking the initiative he often made repair that were not requested in work orders. Eventually 1369 Starspeeders had a mechanical error on their hyperdrive system causing passengers luggage to deploy during hyperspace. G2-9O was found at fault and was set to be dissasembled.
Having great knowledge of the Corellian Starport GENO convinced a freighter captain to smuggle him to the outer rim. Now all GENO has to do is pay back the smuggler by fixing his ship.
