1) How did you discover your force sensitivity?

Once she learned of the existence of the Force, Liara took it as a natural conclusion for many unexplained situations from her early life such as knowing another student's intent to sabotage her before it happened.

2) Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.

After discovering her Force sensitivity Liara became obsessed with discovering more about this mysterious power. Being raised Imperial she knew next to nothing about it, and went so far as to take her mother's maiden name and leave her family for New Republic space to try and learn more

3) How did you come to join the NJO?

Of course in her search for knowledge Liara learned about the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker. She may have gone a little overboard, almost obsessing over the man while trying to best figure out how to approach the Jedi. In the end it was as simple as asking, and he accepted her as one of many new students, even after learning of her ties to the Empire.

4) Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.

Her parents, Dagon and Emil Pax. Her father Dagon is a low level researcher who during the Galactic Civil War worked as a weapons designer to try and improve the protective armor of stormtroopers. Emil was formerly a professor at Corulag's Imperial academy before they were forced to leave the planet when the New Republic took the galactic core.

5) Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.

During Liara's time at the academy she opposed a superior's thesis about an experimental drug. It was career suicide to act against an instructor, but Liara put the safety of other's first and combed through weeks of data to confirm her suspicions that the drug was harmful to those who used it, and exposed the instructor for knowingly harming test subjects.

Liara has come to believe in the ideals of the NJO and strives to improve her knowledge, and be able to share that knowledge with others

Curiosity/Obsession

Liara is always eager to learn, but struggles to control herself and leave time for other activities outside her research.

Liara is a young woman in her early 20s from the Core system of Corulag. She has wavy brown hair, piercing blue eyes, an adventurous spirit, and a fondness for hats.
