Background

The Jedi order took an interest in Aedar as a child, although ultimately determined he lacked a strong enough connection to the force for Jedi training. Despite this, Aedar has always had an admiration for the Jedi, and jumped at the chance to serve the order when the Rangers approached him. By the outbreak of the Clone Wars Aedar had distinguished himself and become an officer in their ranks, his willingness to take risks and fearlessness in the face of danger becoming an inspiration to all his fellow Rangers.

Aedar has been taught the beliefs and ways of the Jedi, as have all Antarian Rangers. To Aedar, to take a risk, to gamble, is to put your faith in the will of the force. To Aedar, every danger he faces, every risk he takes, demonstrates his faith in the Cosmic Force.
