If successful, one device (subject to the GMs approval) spontaneously fails due to the character’s involvement, or because it was about to fail anyway and the character noticed it (this is the character’s decision).

Background

Echo has been an orphan as long as he can remember but it's never slowed him down. He thrives on discarded tech and food alike. He has recently taken to liberating droids, hoping to make their life better. He does what he can to improve and/or repair whatever is needed for people in exchange for a warm meal and a little spending money.
He hopes to save up enough money to acquire his own ship and live off people that don't understand the technology that their lives depend upon.

Motivation

Freedom: Echo desires the freedom to do what he wants.

Droid Rights: Echo believes that droids should be accepted as full members of galactic society, not merely tools or servants.

Obligations

[10] Obsession. Echo is obsessed with all things mechanical. He loves to improve things, even if he doesn't know how they work in the first place.

[10] Criminal. A local noble/crime lord/etc (GM discretion) wants to know who liberated all of their servant droids. Echo was responsible.

Description

Standing not quite three feet tall and covered in dark brown--near black--hair, Echo goes unnoticed more often than not. He has dark eyes and larger than average ears (even for Chadra-fan).
He surrounds himself with broken odds and ends that he swears he'll fix and clean up. He has any number of tools and refurbished tech shoved in to all his packs and pockets.

(+) Amar Mettric. (Human Imperial male) fighter pilot. Taabri repaired and upgraded his TIE after it barely survived a crash landing in a skirmish.
(-) Bahsutu. (Twi’lek male). The slaver that Taabri worked for. Taabri liberated their droids before disappearing into the night with P0-LT3.
(-) Chaga Mahk. (Devaronian female). Former best friend that backed out of a planned heist, leaving Taabri to fend for himself. Taabri has been unable to make contact since but wants to know what happened.
