Sebastian was an up-and-coming recruit in the Imperial Army. Selected for his excellence in survival and evasion training, he was sent off the the mysterious Academy to be trained in covert operations.

The Academy was ruthless, very few students washed out. This is because all their training after just a few weeks was live-fire, beginning with sharp knives and culminating with infiltrations of fake bases guarded by men with real guns.

Sebastian wasn't cut out for this. He could handle being shot at, he could handle an infiltration, but with the guards knowing something was happening it didn't seem fair. Everyone seemed to take a disturbing glee in putting the recruits in dangerous situations.

Late one night, Sebastian put his training to the best use yet. With only his normal gear, he escaped the Academy and set off to the Outer Rim in hopes of lying low and escaping the Imperials that surly would come after him.
