Background

Born on Coreillia the son of two long range cargo pilots, Emile was raised by his paternal uncle in lieu of his parents due to the nature of their work. His formative years were spent assisting his uncle with his salvage shop which worked on reclaiming various precious metals and parts from scrapped ships. As soon as he came of age Emile enlisted with the Imperial Naval Academy at Carida and trained to be a pilot. Originally assigned to be the pilot of a Lambda-class shuttle for Imperial dignitaries and liaison personal, he was demoted to a Zeta-class heavy cargo shuttle pilot after his transport was stolen by rebel forces. After demotion he was reassigned to the classified Imperial Project Stardust also known as the Death Star Project. Whilst out on supply run Emile returned to the secret Imperial weapon only to find remnants of debris following the successful rebel operation to destroy the Death Star by Luke Skywalker. Fearing claims of desertion due to him being a survivor and also sensing a shift in the balance of Imperial power, Emile fled to his uncle's salvage shop and sought his help by scrapping his cargo transport and selling the parts for funds allowing him to start a new life as a inconspicuous cargo pilot and allowing him to stay off the Empire's radar.

Motivation

All Emile wants is to see the galaxy and earn a pretty penny while doing it, but honest work is hard to come across when you're on the run from the empire so he's gonna have to learn to be a bit flexible when it comes to his job choices. Having to deal with unexpected shipmates is also something he didn't plan for but when does life go as planned. As long he has some credits to spend and a bottle of good Coreillian whiskey for the end of the day Emile has no complaints.

Obligations

Whilst his uncle did help out of family obligation, scrapping and selling an imperial cargo transport wasn't easy especially with the heightened Imperial presence due to the Death Stars destruction. His uncle is trustworthy but some of his connections might not be. Being his only stable family, Emile may be called on to help his uncle in case some seedy or Imperial characters start looking into the particulars of his uncles business practices.

Description

Emile stand at 6ft tall with hazel eyes and semi-long sandy blonde hair pulled into a short pony-tail with the fringe left to slightly cover the left side of his face. He has a lean build but his time as an Imperial pilot has slightly softened the muscles he developed whilst growing up pulling apart Junker ships for parts at his uncle's salvage shop. He has and angular face with an ever-present 5 o'clock shadow.
