Background

Giran was born a slave to Zordo the Hutt, a small crime lord on Kwenn Station. For his natural athletic build, he was given a role as a Limmie player in Zordo's owned team. His master has noticed that his skill and reflexes are much higher than the average player and has called the station's imperial Moff to have Giran inspected for Force sensitivity. Learning that his fate is soon to be decided by an imperial inquisitor, Giran fled his captivity with the help of his fellow team mates, but they were caught on their way out.
Only Giran managed to escape, evading his pursuers and sneaking abord a departing shuttle.

1. How did you discover your force sensitivity?
During his escape from Zordo's forces, Giran made an impossible dash and jump, leaving his pursuers far behind, making him realize that he has a power far greater than he understand.

2. Describe a moment where you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you.
Giran pushed his team to escape with him, to leave the servitude of the Hutt, he was sure that together they will not lose – as a team they're invincible.
The memory of his teammates caught and locked like animals is burned in his mind.

3. How did you come to join the NJO?
Giran joined other refugees in search of a new home. On his travels he heard some of them tell the stories of the force and the NJO, so together with other aspiring applicants, he arrived to the Praxeum, hoping to join and learn more about his connection to the force.

4. Name one NPC your character has a strong connection with. This could be a family member, a friend, a work contact, or a bitter rival.
Sallus, an Iktotchi refugee that has joined the NJO together with him.

5. Describe a moment in your life where you demonstrated your moral strength despite adversity.
During his travels with the other refugees, their camp was attacked by slavers. Giran stood against the slavers, holding them off while the others managed to board their ship. He was the last one to board, suffering heavy wounds.
