Zerrik was born and raised on a backwater agri-planet near the outer rim. His family was prominent in his area, known for the quality of the animals that they offered for livestock, beasts of burden, and mounts. When he was 14, he and his younger brother were out exploring the forest and returned home to find that the rest of their family had been murdered. Zerrik’s uncle then took over the family homestead and business, and Zerrik and his brother moved to their grandmother’s homestead, only a short distance away.
After turning 18, Zerrik joined the military, where he trained and worked as a scout-sniper. After serving a little less than 4 years in the military, during which he visited many different planets, Zerrik felt an inexorable call to see & explore the galaxy. He found his skills to be quite marketable and used them to earn a living while moving around the galaxy. It has been almost three years since starting that trek.
Zerrik only recently learned that his uncle was behind the death of his family, using contract killers. The order was to kill the entire family, but they were fortunate in avoiding that fate. The uncle, having gotten what he wanted, let Zerrik and his brother be. Zerrik is force-sensitive and would have developed a connection as a child were it not for a mineral that was present in his well-water, which inhibited the connection and also became deposited into his bones. His body has only recently processed the mineral out of his system to the point where Zerrik, now 25yo, is just establishing a connection to the force.

Zerrik is motivated by a strong impulse to see and explore the galaxy.

Zerrik is athletically built, standing at 6'1" and weighing 210 lbs. He has somewhat shaggy dark brown hair and brown eyes, with a lighter skin-tone.
