Background
Mora was born to merchant parents on the planet of Naboo. Struggling to make ends meet following the fall of the Republic, Mora's father resorted to smuggling and settled his family in the Bogden system. Unfortunately, Imperial law eventually caught up to them. When Mora was a toddler, her father's trade vessel was shot down on a return voyage to one of the planet's moons and subsequently crashed on the surface. A Mandalorian bounty hunter--Isar Noval--was hunting nearby and investigated the crash site. Among the wreckage, he found the two adult crew members dead, and Mora critically injured. Alone and reeling from the recent loss of his clan during the siege of Mandalore, including his wife and daughter, Isar quickly became attached to the young girl. He raised her as his own, and the two became very close.
Eventually, they joined with House Reemar, a group of Mandalorians resisting Imperial expansion in the Outer Rim territories. When Mora was 18, the group's base of operations on Thune was discovered by Imperial intelligence. The attack came suddenly and without warning. Within just a few hours of fighting, the compound was in ruins and their numbers were dwindling. The last of their allies left standing, Isar ensured Mora's escape from the battle via one of the few remaining escape craft, intending to use his final moments to distract the rapidly-approaching Imperial forces. She watched him die at the hands of an unknown Imperial officer seconds before the craft took off, left with nothing but her life and her father's helm. The tragedy affected Mora deeply, and instilled a deep hatred of the Empire.
Mora has spent the past six years travelling the galaxy in search of bounty work, using the skills her father taught her to scratch out a living for herself while scouring the galaxy for others of her kind. Throughout her travels, she has dedicated spare time to searching for information about the Empire, dreaming of a day when she might discover the identity of the officer responsible for her adopted family's destruction and Isar's death, and finally take her revenge.
