Harsh Upbringing 1 Dathomirians begin the game with one rank of the Outdoorsman talent.
Outdoorsman 1 FaD 149 The character removes a setback die per rank of Outdoorsman from [their] checks to move through terrain or to manage terrain or environmental effects. Decrease overland travel times by 50% (this does not decrease with additional ranks of Outdoorsman).
Slight of Mind 2 FaD 152 Force talent. The character adds a boost die per rank of Sleight of Mind to [their] Stealth checks unless the being attempting to detect the character is immune to Force Powers.
Codebreaker 1 FaD 140 The character removes a setback die per rank of Codebreaker from [their] attempts to break codes or decrypt communications. In addition, the character decreases the difficulty of [their] Computers or Intellect checks made to break codes or decrypt communications by one (this does not increase with additional ranks of Codebreaker).
Grit 1 FaD 144 Each rank of Grit increases a character's strain threshold by one.
Dodge 1 FaD 142 When targeted by a combat check (ranged or melee) the character may choose to immediately perform a Dodge incidental to suffer a number of strain, then upgrade the difficulty of the combat check by that number. The number of strain suffered cannot exceed [their] ranks in Dodge.
Jump Up 1 FaD 146 Once per round on the character's turn, the character may stand up from prone or a seated position as an Incidental.
Ataru Technique 1 FaD 139 Force talent. When making a Lightsaber skill check, the character may use Agility instead of Brawn.
Reflect 2 FaD 150 Force talent. When the character suffers a hit from a Ranged (Light), Ranged (Heavy), or Gunnery combat check, and after damage is calculated (but before soak is applied, so immediately after step 3 of Perform a Combat Check) they may take the Reflect incidental. They suffer 3 strain and reduce the damage dealt by a number equal to 2 plus their ranks in Reflect. This talent may only be used once per hit and when the character is wielding a Lightsaber weapon.
Parry 2 FaD 149 When the character suffers a hit from a Brawl, Melee, or Lightsaber combat check, after damage is calculated (but before soak is applied, so immediately after step 3 of Perform a Combat Check) the character may take a Parry incidental. They suffer 3 strain and reduces the damage dealt by that hit by a number equal to 2 plus their ranks in Parry. This talent may only be used once per hit and when the character is wielding a Lightsaber or Melee weapon.
Well Rounded 1 FaD The character chooses any two skills. They permanently become career skills.
Shroud 1 FaD Force talent. Once per session, the character may spend one Destiny Point to make [themselves] undetectable via the Force (through abilities such as the Sense power) and to make [their] own Force powers unnoticeable for the remainder of the encounter.

Strength 1: Independence
The character believes in relying on themself. They do not count on others to perform tasks for them; instead, they ensure they can handle any situation they encounter. They refuse to be a burden on others.

Weakness 2: Coldness
Self reliance can slip into isolation if one is not careful. A cold character doesn't just desire to rely on themself, but has nothing but disinterest for anyone else. If they can't help themselves, why should they aid them?

Strength 2: Pride
Pride can be a powerful emotion, and can push a character to impressive feats of personal accomplishment. They strive to be the best and to take pleasure in their skills.

Weakness 2: Arrogance
Pride, among all emotions, is perhaps the easiest to fall to a darker form. Arrogance mirrors pride, but satisfaction in one's accomplishments is replaced with contempt for others' failings. It is not enough to succeed, the character also expects all others to fail.
