Weapons & Armor

+ 1 comlink from Frost (GoD, 6/1/24)
+ 2nd blaster from Frost (GoD, 6/1/24)

1 Scout blaster
1 Trucheon

-------------

CURRENT: Truncheon (15 credits, 2 Encumb), Shadow Scout light blaster pistol, 1 Encumb)

==========

FORMER: Borrowed Karstag-6 Blaster Pistol (borrowed from Gand Findsman Xithix but now returned, 1 Encumb)

Personal Gear

CURRENT:
- Breath mask (Encumb 1, Rarity 1)
- Code cylinder "Cavalry caller"
- Over-sized longcoat worn w/ sleeves tied around waist (Encumb 1)
- Slicing Kit/Gear (Encumb 2, Rarity 4, 500 credits) inc scramble key and 2 dataspikes (1 used of 3 total)

Breath Mask: These are used by beings to allow breathing in conditions that would usually be asphyxiating.

"Cavalry Caller" Code Cylinder: An engineer at the base on Truuine works with Tilda on a biohexencrypted code cylinder for use in an emergency. If Tilda or Raks can access a comms system that can broadcast off-planet, they can use the code cylinder to send a message tied to their identities. This message will summon a squadron of Rebel fighters. Rebel fighter squadrons are equipped with fast hyperdrives, but if they are in a different system, it will take anywhere from a few hours to a day for them to arrive. Connecting the code cylinder to a comms system is an easy computer check for Raks or Tilda. The cylinder will prick their finger when they activate it. If she has a datapad, Tilda can add additional instructions, which she will encrypt — anyone trying to decrypt would have to roll against her skill.

Scramble Key: (R) 750, Encumb 1, Rarity 4; Electronic lockpick may bypass most locks in 5 minutes. May speed up the process with a daunting (4 difficulty) skulduggery check; success reduces the time to 1 minute, failure triggers alarms. Force sensitives may make a force power check to add successes to the roll per force point generated.

Dataspike x2: (R) 100, Encumb 1, Rarity 3; Once per round, may expend a dataspike to disable a security program as a maneuver. Reduce the difficulty of subsequent Computers checks to disable the program by 2. The dataspike is then useless. (Dataspike used 2/16/24 - Ghosts of Dathomir)

==========

FORMER: Chance Cube (1 credit; given to Leena before departure from Toola), white fur coat (acquired on Toola, given to Osk at Thaacols Manor).

-5 credits spotchka bottle? Total credits 3969

Background

Tilda is a tomboy with angular features, pale skin, pale blue eyes, and straight dirty-blonde hair in an undercut whose top she keeps tousled and short — save for two longer, dangling locks she uses as "lekku." She has a slender build somewhere between waifish and wiry, and is surprisingly agile — thanks to a life lived on the streets. She has a small horizontal scar below her left eye, and looks to be in about her mid-to-late teens.

The youngest daughter of petty criminals on Coruscant, Tilda was taken in by Aux Lión, a Twi'lek thief with a conscience, who took pity on her when she was orphaned at age twelve, during an underworld firefight at her home. As an "honorable" thief, Lión operated by a strict moral code, and stole only from those he believed to have come by ill-gotten gains. And so, raised as though she were the Twi'lek thief's own daughter, Tilda was taught his trade for survival. Tragically, she would lose her surrogate father as well, when Lión was betrayed by a rival years later — who died engaged in deadly combat with said rival, to ensure Tilda's escape.

Haunted by the loss of her "father", Tilda coped by communicating in fabrications, half-truths, and outright lies — a few of which she even came to believe herself. Capable of convincingly portraying herself as either naive or world weary beyond her years, Tilda has a habit of running her mouth just long enough to get in over her head either way, talking her way into as much trouble as out of it.

Tilda adopted the practice of speaking Basic with a Twi'leki accent soon after she began traveling with Aux Lión. It has since become second nature. And in the wake of Lión's death, in an attempt to satisfy the need to feel greater control over her surroundings, Tilda stole objects from every new place she visited and had amassed quite the motley collection of trinkets. Despite growing up in the Coruscanti underworld, she has remained physically chaste and has managed to lead a “principled” life, relatively speaking, having lived by her surrogate father's code of honor.

Once on her own, Tilda successfully fended for herself, as a petty thief, for a full year. Through it all, Tilda continued to honor her surrogate father's core principles, by stealing only from the vile and the unrepentant. What was more worrisome however, was that Tilda had begun stealing from increasingly dangerous people....

It was then, on her sixteenth birthday, that she met the crew of the Carmina — after stowing away aboard their ship, in order to flee a heist gone awry and to escape the clutches of her latest mark. Over the course of her adventures with them, in but one eventful year's time, she became a Rebel operative and a "highly-sought-after asset," having honed her already impressive skills in slicing and skullduggery.

CONNECTION TO OTHER CHARACTERS:

Tilda has since grown close to Carmina's crew. She sees Captain Arden Vex as an older sister, and respects pilot Twoz Pikkeh. In their latest adventure — which included the theft of the Tragic Hope and an encounter with a frightening Force user — she shared quiet bonding moments with both Xithix and Minarti Venn, re: their view of the Force, and Tilda's own burgeoning understanding of it. Of all the crew, she is perhaps closest to Raks-Peekil, with whom she has a sometimes adversarial mentor/mentee relationship, fostered during their courier run for the Alliance.

And though she no longer has face-to-face contact with them, Tilda feels protective of the girl Leena, a girl close to her age who was one of the Sa Nalaor survivors, and of the Gran child Osk, whom she and Carrie's Crew had rescued.

Motivation

PARENT/MENTOR RELATIONSHIP: Tilda feels that she must always honor her surrogate father's code & cause. To avenge/defend/protect "The Weak" (though she'd never call them that), and to champion the Underdog (specifically in a "Robin Hood" sense of robbing from the rich to give to the poor).

STATUS/FAME: Despite privately and perhaps subconsciously conducting herself with honor, Tilda *believes* she is in it "to win it" and think she's striving for Fame.

Obligations

DUTYBOUND (10): Building off of Responsibility and resolution of Kleptomania and Compulsion, Tilda now feels bound to more of a "Robin Hood" like duty wherein she uses her thieving skills for a greater good, rather than for her own gains, eg: to "steal from the rich and give to the poor."

RESPONSIBILITY (10): To honor the honorable thief who raised her, Tilda herself has focused her own personal code on the core principle of Lión's philosophy: to steal only from "bad guys" or those who have come by ill-gotten gains.

COMPULSIVE LIAR (5): Tilda feels compelled to exaggerate, fib or outright lie, as a coping mechanism to deal with her survivor's guilt. (Partially RESOLVED via Character Development, now often reduced only to hyperbole and exaggeration vs out-and-out lies)

BOUNTY (3): "Kleptomania obligation was resolved after the theft on Quermia, BUT is replaced by 3 points of "bounty" because "Powercell" Pyju wants stolen item back! It's just a tiny bounty, so it is unlikely to come up, but you never know…." — GM Zen Kenobi

===========

KLEPTOMANIA (5): Tilda feels an urge to steal when in new places, and must actively resist the call to do so. (NOW RESOLVED via Character Development.)
