Background
An ex-gangster turned smuggler/mercenary, Vrana Franz fled the seedy underworld of Nar Shaddaa after his previous gang got blown to bits by a bounty hunter. Taking a rundown, barely-safe-to-fly freighter his gang had stolen, the zabrak turned from one life of crime to another life of crime. He spent the next couple of years scraping by by moving contraband and doing odd-jobs for various employers all the while doing his best to avoid being shot by anybody he may have gotten on the wrong side of.
One way or another, Vrana eventually saw his life as a smuggler come to a fiery end when his freighter crash landed on a planet in the outer rim while trying to escape pursuers. Using his crashed ship as shelter, he would manage to survive via foraging long enough for him to make contact with a rebel pilot who coincidentally had also crash landed on the planet. The duo worked together to survive long enough for a rescue party from the Rebellion to arrive. Though the party was originally only meant to retrieve the rebel pilot, the pilot extended an invitation to Vrana to join them and the Rebellion in their war against the Empire. Without a ship to resume a life of smuggling, and not wishing to stay stranded on the planet forever, the zabrak accepted, and began his new life as a rebel pilot and fighter.
Motivation
Greed: Everything Vrana s̶t̶e̶a̶l̶s̶ l̶o̶o̶t̶s̶ finds will eventually go to the Rebellion and its cause. This doesn't mean that he can't pocket the difference.
Duties
Resource Acquisition: There are never enough supplies to fully support those fighting against the juggernaut that is the Empire, and this PC knows it very well. He is determined to seek out new sources of raw materials, food, clothing, weapons, armor, and equipment of all kinds. One spare crate of medpacs can save quite a few lives, and a handful of comlinks can mean the difference between success and failure on a mission. He will trade, beg. borrow, and steal anything for the cause.
Description
A mean, sarcastic zabrak with a cocky attitude, Vrana usually resolved conflicts caused by his mouth by shooting his way out of them. Whenever that didn't work, running and hiding were usually the next best options.
