Background
Joe (IG-88) is a reconstructed IG-88 assassination droid turned into protocol droid to help sell and run the Golden Toolbox and Pleasure Tech Repair Shop. Not only was this a tech repair shop but it also was a seedy brothel. The tagline for the shop was, “We fix it until you feel good about it”. Joe’s owner Sual Cal came into hard times on his debt to the local Hutt Bargos. To pay off his debt he offered up Joe as a high end assassination droid, unfortunately the Bargos realized very quickly the Joe was no assassin and the Golden Toolbox fell to new ownership. Bargos reassigned Joe to help negotiate debtor trade deals and after one mission, the debt accountant and crew of henchmen were killed. Joe was able to charm his freedom and as an added bonus, he was able to smuggle a datapad containing the complete list of debtors to the Hutt and their net worth. Bargos without this datapad can not run shop and can only make guesses based on memory what everybody owes.
